Yellowstone National Park, United States. Scientists conduct natural and social-science research to learn more about the ecological role of large carnivores in the Northern Rockies and their effects on the livelihoods of local ranchers.
Faculty in CBCS conduct applied natural and social science research in the disciplines of:

Research is performed on five continents and supported by a network of university and faculty laboratories, 11,000 acres of research forests, the Yale University Library, and many international partner organizations.
