Applying for Financial Aid- All Returning Students
All students must apply for financial aid every year to be considered for any financial aid assistance.
Returning U.S. and Permanent Resident students applying for financial aid must complete the on-line FAFSA, the on-line F&ES financial aid application, and submit their previous year's US tax returns (1040s, W-2s and schedules) by March 15:
Returning International students applying for financial aid must complete the F&ES on-line application form by March 15; if the student worked in the U.S. during the previous year, s/he must also submit all US tax forms as listed above for U.S. and P.R. students.

- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (on-line FAFSA) FAFSA provides the government with information on your financial resources. The FAFSA on-line form is available here. The Yale F&ES School code is 001426. Apply as soon as possible, beginning January 1. You may need the previous year’s income information to complete the FAFSA.
- School of Forestry and Environmental Studies Returning Studnets Financial Aid Application This completed on-line form is also required for all returning students.
