The Forest Stewards Guild's mission is to promote ecologically responsible resource management that sustains the entire forest across the landscape.

The Guild is a professional organization of practicing foresters throughout the United States. The Yale Chapter of the Forest Stewards Guild is the first student chapter in the country; during the next school year we will be inviting practicing guild members to speak about ecologically responsible forestry and attending Guild workshops in New England.
